The LA Lakers took game 1 of the Western Conference Finals tonight at home from the Phoenix Suns 128-107. Kobe Bryant led the way with a dominating 40 point performance despite the news about his drained knee earlier today. Lamar Odom was a huge spark off the bench posting a 19 point, 19 rebound affair to help Bryant and his teammates to a resounding victory.
Amare Stoudemire and Steve Nash were the bright spots for the losing Suns as they checked in with 23 points and 13 points, 13 assists respectively. Nash and Suns will look to bounce back and try to steal game 2 on the road Wednesday night at 9 PM ET
