Highlands High School has produced it's fair share of talent over the years. Patrick Towles could be one of the best this including names like Gino Guidugli and Jared Lorenzen. Towles says he is hearing from "Kentucky,Vanderbilt,Alabama,Georgia,Auburn,Northwestern,Penn State, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Missouri, Illinois,Cincinnati,Louisville,Rutgers,Duke,Stanford, and Notre Dame."
As far as the interest from Kentucky he says he hears from Coach (Chuck) Smith, however he also says "I haven't talked to their coaches in a while, and I haven't gotten any letters from them in a couple of weeks."
Patrick does says he's gotten "a bunch of hand written letters from Louisville and Northwestern." Towles also says he has visited "Kentucky and Notre Dame and I plan on visiting Louisville soon."
Standing at 6'5 230 Towles already has a body ready for the college game, but he says "I'm going to decide when I'm ready. It could be at the end of this year, or it could be at the end of my senior year." Towles self describes his game as resembling "Phillip Rivers, I'm pretty good throwing the ball down field, and I can run when I have to." Some keys he'll use is "which school has the best shot of winning a national championship, and also which school am I going to play early at."
We were expected to attend Patrick's game at Woodford Co. tonight but due to a scheduling conflict won't be able to attend.
