Sports Xpress Recruiting Xclusive:Craig Owens

Louisville (KY) Trinity HS is turning into a national powerhouse, not just on the gridiron any more but they're consistently churning out other good athletic teams as well. One that has really began to get a lot of attention is the basketball program which is led by Charles Foster,Darryl Hicks, and Craig Owens.
Owens is our focus today and he says he's already heard from "Marquette,Detroit, Northwestern,Indiana, and Notre Dame." When asked which schools stood out the 2014 6'4 195 lbs. combo guard mentions "Marquette,Northwestern, and Notre Dame."
At this point and time the sophomore says "Marquette is recruiting me the hardest." Despite Marquette recruiting him hardest the staff Owens has came away most impressed with is "Notre Dame."
When it comes time to decided Owens says he wouldn't mind playing on the next level with former Kentucky prep hooper Dakari Johnson who is now at Montverde Academy with former St. Patricks Head Coach Kevin Boyle where he played along side Kentucky incoming freshmen Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, and SX alum Derrick Gordon who is headed to Kentucky as well all thought he'll be at Western Kentucky.
