    By:Kenneth True (@SXKennethTrue on Twitter)

Charlie Strong has lots of positive vibes coming out of Louisville and one young man who is ready to go all in is Devontre Parnell.

Parnell is a 5'11 175 lbs. CB who comes to the Cardinals from South Carolina where he says it wasn't hard to tell the Gamecocks or Clemson Tigers, thanks but no thanks in stating "I'd been in South Carolina my whole life and I wanted to go somewhere I could focus on my future, and not be around family and friends to much."

The CB says he chose the Cardinals because "The program Coach Strong is building, the players he's bringing in and the coaches. I just fell in love with Louisville."

The freshman is already on campus at Louisville and is rooming with DeAngelo Brown a 6'1 285 lbs. DT from Savannah (GA). Brown isn't the only Cardinal Parnell has built a good relationship as he lists some Card veterans in "Brandon Radcliff and Keith Brown" Parnell also says "We're like a big family."

There has been a lot of talking back and forth between Kentucky and Louisville players this offseason, and Parnell says "The first game of the season against our rivals Kentucky is the game that sticks out most to me."

The talented corner who will wear #6 for the Cardinals says "I don't know about redshirting, we haven't discussed that yet, but I think I have a great opportunity to play this season."
