Josh Mejia is a big guard at 6’2 235 lbs. but is starting to compile an impressive early list for a 2015 prospect.
Mejia has received interest from “Dayton, Rutgers, Florida State, Stanford, Iona, and Boston University.” Josh has also picked up offers from “George Mason, Tennessee Tech, Marist, Manhattan, and Rice.”
When asked which schools stood out early in the process for Mejia he responded “Manhattan and George Mason.”
The James Monroe (NY) HS star has visited Marist this summer of which he said “It went well for me, they showed us the campus and we spoke to the players on the team.” The us he was referencing is his brother Jerry Mejia and their cousin Adonis Delarosa.
The most recent visit for Josh was a midnight madness visit to Manhattan, which you can see some photos from below. This summer Mejia will play with the Metrohawks AAU team, he formerly played with Team Price.
